What I Wore This Week

Hi, everyone! I hope you’re all holding up during lockdown. I was a bit all over the place this week, both emotionally and with my scent choices. I couldn’t really decide what I was in the mood for! However, sticking to a routine in the morning of doing yoga, showering, and picking out a fragrance has helped to ground me. Here’s what I wore:

  • Monday: Bas de Soie by Serge Lutens
  • Tuesday: Dear Polly by Vilhelm Parfumerie
  • Wednesday: English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone
  • Thursday: Chanel Coco Mademoiselle EDP Intense
  • Friday & Saturday: Ginger Piccante by Guerlain

The photo was taken by me. Nothing in this post was gifted.

  1. Love your choices!
Yesterday started my Jo Malone stretch. Yesterday I wore the new LE Yuja. Today I am wearing Poppy & Barley.

    1. I’m planning to wear some Jo Malone with you this week! I haven’t worn Honeysuckle & Davana in a couple of weeks so I’ll definitely wear that.

  2. I know what you mean by being all over the place.
Ginger Piccante is a good choice for a pick me up.I’ll find mine and join you in a spray or 3 XXX

    1. I just spritzed on a little more GP! I couldn’t help myself. I enjoy that it’s not overly sweet, but it still feels like a happy scent.

  3. I need to sample ginger piccante soon, it sounds so good. Dear Polly is lovely too, but the price is not. Today I first wore Florabotanica, then Untitled L’Eau and now CK Eternity, that a coworker gave me, because she didn’t like it any more. I wore this a lot in the late 90ies, so it reminded me of older times

    1. CK Eternity is so nostalgic now!

I used a Barney’s gift card to purchase Dear Polly. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten it at that price point. RIP Barney’s!

  4. Today it’s Guerlain Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose.
A very good sale of Guerlain has started today at All Beauty. I’m sorely tempted !!!!!!!
Step away from the keyboard now. Ha Ha

      1. I’m trying hard. I don’t really need to buy any more perfume for ages, but I’m greedy. Neither do I need to spend the money !!!!

  5. It’s nearly the end of the week and I haven’t posted once. Put it down to Lockdown mush brain !!
I haven’t got any Jo Malone to comment on.

    1. Oh it doesn’t have to be Jo Malone! I think Brigitte is the only who has enough to actually wear different JM scents all week 😄 I hope you’re doing alright! It’s been another long lockdown week.

      1. Yes it’s been a horribly long week. I am working from home and my normal work days are now extraordinaryly long, 12-14 hours. I will be happy when life goes back to normal 😊
Most of my Jo Malone’s are samples and GWP. That’s why I have so many LOL 🤣

        1. Ugh, 12 – 14 hours is awful! You need a break for sure. I always make sure to take a real lunch break in the middle of the day where I don’t answer work emails for a bit. It really helps — and my supervisor is aware of it, lol!

    2. No worries, Matty! Wear what you like! It’s just me doing Jo Malone week by my own choice 😁
