What I Wore This Week

Hi, everyone! I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy. I’m onto week 3 of isolating and social distancing. Perfume has definitely been helping me keep a sense of normalcy every day. I’m making an effort to stay grounded with a daily routine (otherwise I’ll never sit down to start working from home). Putting on perfume is part of that routine for me.

I went very green and springy with my scents for this week. You can tell I’m really in the mood for sunshine and spring weather to lift the spirits! Here’s what I wore:

  • Monday: Carven Le Parfum
  • Tuesday: Fidji EDT by Guy Laroche
  • Wednesday: Chanel Cristalle EDT
  • Thursday: Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte
  • Friday: Tam Dao EDT by Diptyque
  • Saturday: Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte again

What did you all wear?

  1. Beautiful choices you made this week! Such uplifting fragrances, Caitlin!
Today I am testing January Scent Project Eiderantler and really digging it.
Laying in bed with my feline granddaughter binge watching Longmire. Gearing up for a busy stay at home work week.

    1. I love Eiderantler! Glad to hear you’re liking it too.

Enjoy your cozy tv binge! I’m cleaning my apartment and haven’t put on any fragrance yet today.

  2. Oops! Just left a long comment but didn’t type my full name in before hitting post!! It’s probably in moderation mode LOL

  3. L’Artisan Premier Figuere.
This bottle is from a really lovely 3mls gift set. A lovely black and gold box containing 5 3ml sweet little round bottles.
    Perfumes in the set include
    Permiere Figuere
    Mure et Musc
    La Cahasse aux Papillons
    Timbukto
    Mon Numero 7

        1. It really is. The inside of the box is lined with a velvet-y material, with 5 round places to hold the bottles.

  4. Today i wore vintage Shalimar EdT, now topped up with Felanilla. Just the right scents for a rainy and cold Sunday. And we had rhubarb cake today.

  5. As you know already, I got my bottle of Unknown Pleasures this past weekend! So I’ve been wearing that mostly, but I also got several samples so I also tried Péng Lái by Berdoues. It’s very light and floral so I may try it again when the weather changes. I also mixed it up and wore Honeysuckle and Davana once. It’s been a rainy and grey week here and Unknown Pleasures felt so warm and inviting. The zest of lemon used to be more noticeable on me, but right now it’s wearing differently. I feel comforted by the Earl Grey and waffle cone. So strange to write that. It is a gourmand scent and I appreciate its ability to transport me somewhere, even if it’s just in my imagination.

    1. So exciting! Yes, I’m grateful for the escapism that fragrance can offer right now. Who knows when we’ll be able to travel safely again. I’m glad Unknown Pleasures was really suiting your mood this week! It’s so satisfying when that happens.

      1. It was a tiny sample that I thunked LOL 🤣
I have been doing a lot of that lately. My entire week was finishing samples!
