What I Wore This Week

Well, this past week has been quite the whirlwind! First and foremost, I hope that you’re all healthy and safe right now.

My perfume collection is not what’s relevant or important at the moment. However, I will continue to put up these posts, at least for now. It looks like we’ll all be staying in a lot more for the foreseeable future. Personally, I will continue to wear perfume, even if it’s only around my apartment. We need to have some nice things to enjoy even (and especially) during a global pandemic.

As a note, both Brigitte and Matty were commenting on last week’s post throughout the week. I invite anyone to join in and continue to comment, if you want to. It can be helpful to feel a sense of community in any way that we can right now.

And now, here’s my scent of the day round-up:

  • Monday: Magnolia Nobile by Acqua di Parma
  • Tuesday: Narciso For Her EDT
  • Wednesday: Chanel Cristalle EDT
  • Thursday: L’Eau Chic by Parfums de Nicolai
  • Friday: Fig-Tea by Parfums de Nicolai
  • Saturday: Chanel Cristalle EDT

What did you all wear?

The above photo was taken by me. Nothing in this post was gifted.

  1. We both wore Cristalle on Wednesday.

Thank you, Caitlin, for allowing and encouraging daily postings โ™ฅ๏ธ Something to look forward to on a regular basis. I am hoping some of my other perfume pals will join in

Yesterday and today wore Pure eVe… it’s such a comfort scent. I will be looking to comfort fragrances in the next few weeks and a few that come to mind are Vanilla Vera Cruz, Reglisse Noire, Jungle Elephant, Brigitte and Pure eVe. They all have vanilla which is comforting for me.

Hope everyone stays healthy in body, mind and spirit.

  2. Hmmm…I thought I left a comment but I think WordPress ate it LOL ๐Ÿ˜‚
Thanks for inviting us to comment daily. It really does help to lighten up the day with all that’s happening.
I wore Pure eVe the entire weekend. It’s a very comforting fragrance.
And we were scent twins on Wednesday!

    1. How weird, it looks like wordpress sent your first comment into moderation?? I have no idea why!! Making things more difficult at a time like this ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Yes, I wore Cristalle to match you on Wednesday! ๐Ÿ’œ

  3. I believe perfume is a great source of comfort, it brings me so much pleasure. I wore Berdoues Violette for couple days, decant gifted from Brigitte. An utterly beautiful lipstick scent. Last night I wore Chanel Coromandel, a favorite scent memory and comfort scent.

    1. Agreed, perfume and scent are great ways to seek comfort! Ooh, Coromandel is an excellent choice. Youโ€™ve inspired me to get out my bottle of Sycomore this week.

  4. I have been wearing a lot of Ellis Brooklyn this week. I need to be better about writing down what I wear on each day, but this week I know I wore Sci Fi, Raven, Fawn, and Fable, plus Orange Blossom by Jo Malone. Itโ€™s been such a comfort to connect to my senses when Iโ€™m full of anxiety and my mind is spinning.

    1. You always remind me to get more acquainted with Ellis Brooklyn! I know you really like the brand. I think it will definitely be a Jo Malone week for me. Lots of sunny Honeysuckle & Davana will be necessary ๐Ÿ’›

    2. Orange Blossom was my first Jo Malone and my favorite orange blossom scent.
You can always post your scent of the day here on a regular basis. That’s what I have been doing because by the end of the week I forget!

  5. Christina reminded me that I have a travel spray of Commodity Nectar ( beautiful orange blossom) which I was hoarding because the company is out of business. I brought it upstairs from the basement and will wear it and enjoy it. Life is too short.
It also pairs really nicely with Goldfield and Banks Pacific Rock Moss which I have layered on top.

Btw, Neiman Marcus online is having a huge 20 percent off sale on about three quarters of their fragrances, including Jo Malone’s!!

    1. Ooo nice! Perfect for spring ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒธ.
I was eyeballing those AAs at the Neiman Marcus online sale.

        1. I think of spring and sometimes summer with that entire AA line (except for Winter Delice) and the bottles are so pretty and spring-like.๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒท

  6. keeping up with the AAs……Rosa Pop today. Not very strong Rose but with a hint of Violet as well

  7. Now Essential Be Loveable essential oil blend. I think it’s a mix of bergamot, rose and ylang ylang.
Yesterday I put lemon and eucalyptus in my diffuser and it was lovely.

  8. My middle one brought all her bottles back from college and announced that we have way too much perfume – LOL
I took her bottles of Vanilla Sauvage de Madagascar, Vanilla Abricot and Iris Nobile and put them in my bedroom after testing them early this morning. I smell sweet!

    1. I actually was thinking about your kids bringing home all the perfume they took with them to school ๐Ÿ˜„

All of that vanilla sounds lovely right about now. Comfort scents for sure.
