Hi, everyone! I’m here as usual with my weekly scent round-up. I’m pretty happy with my choices this week. I always try to mix in my designer favorites with some indie and niche picks.
- Monday: Bas de Soie by Serge Lutens
- Tuesday: Chanel No. 5 EDT
- Wednesday: Dear Polly by Vilhelm Parfumerie
- Thursday: Timbre EDP by Chris Rusak
- Friday: Honeysuckle & Davana by Jo Malone
- Saturday: L’Occitane Verveine EDT
What did you all wear this week?

It was Winter Woods all week long for me!! Now that Sonoma Scent Studio is back in business I can wear it without worry about using it up. I may wear it again for the upcoming week too. There’s something refreshing about living in a perfume for a while and picking up different facets of it.
I agree, sometimes I just want to wear one perfume all week. Enjoy your Winter Woods with abandon!
How funny you commented because I was just thinking about you!! Fragrancenet has Merchant of Venice perfumes now. I was browsing and noticed them. The bottles are quite pretty.
Yay, such good news about Sonoma Scent Studio!
I agree, there’s something interesting about wearing the same scent. Especially when some of us (me) typically have so many on rotation, lol!
Let’s see — I wore vintage Infini (just got it and I love it!), 4160 Tuesdays’ Eat More Flowers, and my first try of Papillon’s Bengale Rouge. Wow, is that gorgeous!

Ah, you’ve reminded me that I still have not yet sniffed Bengale Rouge. I’ve heard nothing but raves. Perhaps I’ll make it one of my first samples of 2020!
It is very beautiful! I got it when Ave Parfum had a sale of in-stock items. Yes, I did blind buy it, based on her other scents I like and the great reviews, and I’m glad I did!
I’m glad it was a successful blind buy for you! I’ve resolved not to do any blind buys this year so I’ll sample it if I can.
I should call it a semi-blind buy, lol, since I’ve tried all the Papillon fragrances, so I had a pretty good idea that I would like this one after reading all the reviews. The only other one I own as a full bottle, though, is Dryad. Very tempted by Angelique.
I wore Moulin Rouge today for visiting an exhibition about the Aztecs and now vintage Shalimar EdT for the evening.
That exhibition sounds very interesting!
It’s impossible to go wrong with vintage Shalimar. Enjoy!
