Each of these three give me a sense of meditative calm and cerebral seriousness. On the other hand, I also kept it light with some Bath & Body Works body mist. It’s always a mix! I hope you’re all taking good care. 2021 has certainly come in with a bang. Not only are we still in a pandemic, we’ve had an attempted coup d’état as well here in the US. And it’s only been one week!

Hey, everyone! We’re almost there — almost to the end of 2020! I hope you’re all doing well and planning some restful time off over the holidays.

We had a snow-filled week here, so I’ve been wearing some comfort cold-weather scents. I don’t mind the snow much this year because I’m not out driving in it! Plus, it’s festive at this time of year. It’s nice to have a snowy Christmas.

I was going through my fragrance drawers last weekend and unearthed a bottle of L’Instant de Guerlain stuck at the back of one of my drawers! The bottle is still almost full. I have a memory of ordering it around the time I had moved in to this apartment, so I think it just got lost in the shuffle.

I was happy to re-discover it — I love L’Instant! But this just shows why I make an effort to rotate through my collection and why I make this post each week. I don’t want great scents like this to slip through the cracks of my collection.

Hi, everyone!

I hope everyone is holding up well. I’ve done some Christmas decorating and put my tree up. I am definitely ready for the holidays and the end of this year!

I got out my old bottle of Serge Lutens Rousse which is an amazing cinnamon scent. It was so cozy and warming on a cold day. I’m looking forward to wearing it more throughout this month. I also wore Ginger Piccante several times this week. The ginger is nice and crisp in cold weather. It’s energizing and helps wake up my senses a bit in the morning, which is what I need. Sometimes just coffee isn’t enough!
