Hi, everyone! It’s been another chaotic week in 2020. I hope you’re all still holding up well.
I’ve pretty much settled into a Chanel rotation for Fall. I think I will transition from the No. 19 EDT to the EDP as the weather gets cooler. And the No. 5 EDT is absolutely perfect for bright, crisp Fall days right now. Here’s the full round-up of what I wore:
- Monday: Chanel No. 5 EDT
- Tuesday: Chanel No. 19 EDT
- Wednesday: PM Fragrances Le Minimaliste Version I
- Thursday: Chanel Cristalle EDT
- Friday: Graanmarkt 13
- Saturday: Cristalle again
What did you all wear?

I begin to get out the heavy hitters, so today I gave Agent Provocateur a good wearing, even if I just wore it for biking and not in a boudoir…
Ha, I love that! Makes for a good bike ride!
I’ve been weirdly attracted to Cabochard EDP this week.
Oh yum, that’s a nice green, smoky one for Fall! (If I’m remembering my decant of it correctly)
Yes, it is! I was sniffing it on my wrist recently and suddenly got whiffs of hyacinth coming and going. Hyacinth isn’t mentioned in any list of its notes that I had seen, so I thought my nose was playing tricks on me. And then I looked it up in excellent book on perfume by Neil Chapman of The Black Narcissus blog, and he smelled hyacinth too! I feel so affirmed.
I love when that happens! Hyacinth makes me think of Bas de Soie. I should wear it this coming week!
I love Neil Chapman’s book. The cover is fab as are all the illustratrions inside.
The art deco cover is gorgeous! And I love his writing too.
I agree! He has such great insights into fragrance. And I like how he grouped scents by chapter.
Yes so do I. I love reading about his life in Japan in his blog
Me too! It’s such a different world and experience.
