Hi, everyone! I hope that everyone who celebrates had a lovely Thanksgiving this week! And, even if you don’t celebrate, I hope you had a relaxing week full of delicious food, anyway. I chose to wear Serge Lutens’ Rousse as my Thanksgiving scent. The cinnamon opening felt appropriately festive for the occasion. The rest of my week in scent wasn’t too shabby either!

Pretty much wore Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia all week. However, Wednesday night I wore Mistral Patchouli to which I added some extra patchouli essential oil. And Friday after Thanksgiving a palate cleanse with Green Tea. Today I am layering all three…. Green Tea, Vintage Gardenia and Mistral Patchouli.
That layering of all three scents sound heavenly! It’s smart to do a a “palate cleanser” scent the day after Thanksgiving. I definitely needed a reset on Friday 😄
we don’t do Thanksgiving in Germany, so no special scent. But i set up some minimalistic advent decorations and now i am wearing Calligraphy Saffron.
Minimalistic advent decorations sound nice! I decorated my small christmas tree today but forgot to open my advent calendar for December 1st (I’ll have two doors to open tomorrow morning).
I didn’t track closely, but some of what I wore this week were: semi-vintage (2012) Diorella, Chanel No. 19, Anne Klein II, JD Vanille Farfelue, 4160 Tuesdays White Queen. Your choices were lovely!
Thank you! I love your choices as well. It’s crazy to think it, but 2012 Dior essentially is vintage with how quickly they seem to reformulate and change things around.
I know, it’s crazy! The one I have is beautiful, I’m very happy with it. Considering taking the plunge for an older bottle at some point, though.
As long as you’re happy with it, that’s what counts. I bought my bottle of Hypnotic Poison around 2014-2015 and I’m starting to feel like even that is becoming vintage Dior at this point!
