What I Wore This Week

I’ve been trying to track my scents of the day recently to take stock of what I’m actually wearing. I’m trying to cycle through my collection a bit more. I say “trying” because I inevitably forgot this past Monday, so you only see four scents here!

  • Tuesday: Woody Mood by Olfactive Studio
  • Wednesday: Honeysuckle & Davana by Jo Malone London
  • Thursday: Terre d’Iris by Miller Harris
  • Friday: Mon Numéro 10 by L’Artisan Parfumeur

This doesn’t include any samples that I tested because those samples will be featured in upcoming posts of their own! What did you wear this past week?

(And, today I am wearing Burberry Brit for a bit of classic coziness.)

  1. Let’s see — I can’t remember which days I wore what, but I wore Jicky, VCA’s Automne, Tiffany & Co., Penhaligon’s Elisabethan Rose 2018, L’Artisan’s Oeillet Sauvage.

  2. I love this post and hope you will keep it on regular rotation!
I keep track of what I wear on the SOTD Thread on Australian Perfume Junkies. I could not remember so I had to go back to that post!
I have been working on trying to finish up samples and decants before they evaporate so here is what I finished this week- Gris Clair, Bottega Venetta Eau Legere, Lalique Elegance Animale, Orris Tattoo, Charlatan, Lancolme Oud Bouquet and Interlude.
Today I am wearing Mona di Orio Oud for the first time and also testing Serge Lutens Santal Blanc. For next week I will probably stick with these two as they are in decant (Oud) and tiny splash bottle (Santal Blanc) size. With my applications throughout the day I may end up finishing both.

    1. Ooh, what are your first impressions of the Mona di Orio Oud? I haven’t worn anything from Mona in a long time. It might be time to revisit.

Fantastic choices! I could never get Gris Clair to work on my skin. It’s been about 5 years since I last tested it though so maybe it’s time to try again!

I can’t promise a post like this every week, but possibly every other week! And maybe interspersed with a round-up of samples too. That could be fun.

      1. The Oud is very plush and enveloping but it sits close to my skin. It’s warm and elegant. I have tried real agarwood essential oil and the Oud in this smells real, not synthetic. I also think this is a good one for those who think they don’t like Oud. I am going to enjoy my decant.
Gris Clair I have worn several times. First few times it was very sweet lavender. The very last of the decant smelled of baby powder or baby oil.
Any type of post is always welcome 😁

        1. Oh that sounds like a delicious oud! I am getting a little bit of oud fatigue because it seems like oud is in everything these days. But this sounds like a nice one!

I got a plasticky baby powder from Gris Clair! I wonder what causes that??

Haha, I will post whatever seems most appropriate for the week! 😊
