What I Wore This Week

Hi, everyone! I’m back with my Sunday round-up, as usual. This past week was very low-key for me. I came down with something over Easter and, as a result, I was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. You may have noticed I didn’t have a new post up mid-week. I just didn’t have the energy to sniff anything new or do any writing. But I still managed to wear some old favorites this week! It helped boost my mood and my energy levels.

  • Tuesday: English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone
  • Wednesday: Chanel No. 19 EDT
  • Thursday: Figue Amère by Miller Harris
  • Friday: Tendre Madeleine by Laurence Dumont Les Senteurs Gourmandes
  • Saturday: Honeysuckle & Davana by Jo Malone

What did you all wear this week?

  1. I am sorry to hear that you were I’ll. HipH you are feeling better now. Love your choices. I know we have small travel size of those two Malone floating around the house. I will have to search for them.

I was in a rut this week plus had two evenings of work training in tight quarters so I was commando on those days and wore my homemade Incense blend on the other two days. At night my lavender infused eau de Merveilles and Pour Un Homme. My win from Portia’s draw arrived so I wore Pacific Rock Moss every day since Friday. It reminds me of Un Air de Bretagne which I love and even on my scent devouring skin the longevity is outstanding…12+ hours. It’s from an Australian perfume company and I think it’s an extrait.

    1. Oh my goodness!!!! This autocorrect is so annoying!!
Sorry you were ill. Hope you are feeling better now.

    2. Thank you, Brigitte! I can usually bounce back from a stomach bug pretty quickly, but this one had me feeling low all week. I’m much better now though!

Oh, work training sessions are the worst!! I would definitely feel stuck in a rut because of that.

Congrats on winning Portia’s draw!!! I’ve seen pics of Pacific Rock Moss on instagram but I never knew if it was really any good. I’m so glad it’s working well with your skin chemistry. That’s amazing longevity!

      1. Oh gosh, stomach bugs are the worst! Yes, I would imagine needing a week to recover. Luckily it came early and not while you’re in NYC next month. I hope you still plan on going because I am looking forward to those posts….. especially what you will be sampling while there!!!!

        1. Don’t worry, I’m definitely still planning on NYC! I have it booked for May 10th – 14th so I’m hoping to sniff all kinds of good things! Yes, thank goodness I didn’t get sick while traveling — how miserable!

  2. the most interesting scents i wore this week were Chypre Mousse and Fille en Aiguilles. And at the moment i got a small obsession for SJP Covet.
